The Pundit

This owl consists solely of glass; there is no paint used in the process.
This feathers were created by hand-nipping hundreds of tiny pieces of glass then placing each individually, with tweezers, on a clear background. (I enjoyed the process immensely; it was almost a form of meditation.) I used frit and powder to create the details on the beak.
Since creating this piece, I've had a few interactions with owls. I take that as a sign that they approve.
