I created this mosaic on 2" wediboard that I cut to shape. Each piece of glass is hand cut. This mosaic is a triptych, designed to stand on a 15 degree angle that I cut to attach the oak bases to, for stability. The sides are also tiled to carry the design around the edge. The colors and small "rivers" of smalti and gold mirror are reflections of the light that is in all we do and express. This was a joy design and create.
