Native American Headdress

All feathers, beads (excluding seed beads) and cap are all made by me and are all glass. Headdress is a representation of the Native America people. Over 80 hours, not counting kiln time, went into this piece. 34 individually made feathers....each one consisting of two firings, the first to create the feather veins and the second to create the contour on a mold that I also made. Beads were made and then epoxied to the glass cap which also had a custom form and 34 holes drilled to accommodate the feathers.
