Second Place Hot Glass - "Droplet #2"

Hand sculpted glass and welded steel. I use delicate yet rigid metal forms to create a framework that contrasts the smooth and transparent nature of clear glass, creating a visual dichotomy that allows movement to exist in a static form. Reflections are captured in such a way that also capture movement in our surroundings, often magnifying little details we tend to overlook, and allowing us to see reflected colors in new ways.
